Poster information
Poster sessions will be held during the lunch breaks on Thursday 30 October 12:40-14:00 and Friday 31 October 12:45-13:30. Lunch will be provided at the poster session.
Each poster author will be provided with a bulletin board, which can display an A0 poster in portrait format. The bulletin boards will be marked with the poster number. Authors are requested to display their posters on the morning of the 30th and to remove them on the afternoon of the 31st in order to allow the posters to be viewed during the lunches, coffee breaks, and evening.
Speakers’ information
The invited talks are 40 minutes including 5-10 minutes of discussion. The contributed talks are either 20 minutes (including 5 minutes discussion) or 15 minutes (including 3 minutes discussion). Speakers are asked to check in with the session chair five minutes before the session begins.
The conference room is equipped with overhead projector, data projector, VHS playback, DVD playback, audio playback, microphone, and wireless network. We will provide a Windows laptop with Office 2003, which may be used for your presentation. However, feel free to bring and use your own laptop which can be connected to the projector at the front of the room.
On-site facilities
There will be wi-fi access on campus. On checking in, you will be given two forms. One of these should be filled out with your information, while the other contains information on how to connect to the University network. You will have to set a proxy server. Either use the automatic proxy URL http://www-config.strath.ac.uk/proxy.config or use the manual proxy address www-cache6.strath.ac.uk.
